Handcrafts are a fun and relaxing thing for me.  I enjoy making pretty and useful things for others.  As a child I learned how to crochet and made afghans and other items such as snoods and berets.  I now make hats and scarves for the whole family, as well as table runners, place mats, coasters, wash clothes and Willie Warmers.

As I got older I learned how to do cross stitch.  My Great Aunt Agnes Simmons taught me some of the older stitches that she used.  To this day I still have the swatches that my practice stitches are on with the date of when I learned them from her.  I enjoy making ornaments for Christmas, but I also do large pieces as gifts for my friends and family.

I learned how to make angels first when it comes to jewelry.  I made pins and ornaments.  From there I just started letting the creative juices flow.  I now make the angel pins, ornaments, necklaces, and earrings.  I also make hoop earrings, cross earrings and necklaces, bracelets, headbands, hair combs and barrettes, key chains and stitch holders.

I am continually searching for new and exciting items to make.  Feel free to ask  about customized items and I will do my best to assist you!
